Departure from Florence at 8:45 AM by van. Arriving in Cerbaia at 9:30 AM, you will hop aboard comfortable Bianchi e-bikes for an adventure through the Tuscan hills.

 

First stage (10.8 km): Together with an expert guide, you will ride along the cycle path flanking the Pesa stream—a scenic nature trail that offers an easy, flat dirt track. The route winds through the Tuscan countryside, showcasing picturesque landscapes, rest areas, and historical highlights up to Ponte Rotto. Afterward, passing through San Quirico in Collina, you will reach Poppiano Castle, the historic residence of the Guicciardini Counts.

 

At 10:45 AM, an exclusive mini-tour of the Castle awaits you: a visit to the aging cellar to discover the secrets of winemaking, followed by the castle’s olive mill to immerse yourself in the production of their estate oil. To top it off, you will enjoy a tasting of 3 selected wines and 2 extra virgin olive oils—including the prestigious Laudemio—accompanied by traditional fettunta.

 

Second stage (8 km): You will set off again toward Mulin dell'Albero, taking in another 8 km of breathtaking scenery along a mix of paved roads and trails through the vineyards. Here, at 12:30 PM, you will arrive at Bernardo’s from Slow Florence for an authentic culinary experience: a hands-on, homemade pizza-making class, complete with focaccia and bruschette in the heart of the Tuscan countryside
